Data Search and Retrieval
All data on the Internet is kept in a file somewhere. To access or retrieve that data we may take a copy of a file in full or use some management program to retrieve and send us the information required.

Traditionally data was stored in text based systems
Latest systems store graphics, and audio and video clips.
