to help you maintain -There are three things you need to understand about nutrition.
  1. Low-fat, high-carbohydrate diets do not always work. That is because there are two types of carbohydrates: high-glycemic index and low-glycemic index. High-glycemic index carbohydrates are absorbed quickly, causing a rapid rise in blood sugar. This triggers an insulin reaction. Insulin is a storage hormone that singles the body to remove the excess blood sugar - and store it as fat! Low-glycemic index cargohydrates are agsorbed slowly, which does not produce an insulin reaction. This allows the blood sugar to be metabolised and not be stored as fat.
